Join us on October 7th to discuss Self Editing for Fiction Writers by Renni Browne and Dave King.

The ARW/AWG Writing Craft Book Club focuses on the craft of writing through books written by and for those in the industry. While reading the book is not necessary for attendance, it will greatly increase your enjoyment of this discussion.

"Self Editing for Fiction Writers" (first published in 1993 and updated in 2004) has served as a manual for writers approaching their own works with an editors pen. Written by two professional editors, it gives all writers the ground-work to produce cleaner, beautiful writing. We will discuss particular techniques highlighted in the book as well as the challenges we face when it comes to trimming and modifying our own work.
